Pastor (First Lady) Davis
Unity Christian Life Center (UCLC) is a non-denominational church located in Jacksonville NC. She was birthed by our Lord and Founder, Pastor Richard A. Sheats and Co-Founder First Lady Claudia Sheats. UCLC held its first service on April 11, 2010 with many guests and loved ones in attendance. As we prepare to enter into our 4th year God continues to bless us and allow us to grow spiritually and physically, to increase His territory one soul at a time. UCLC is a "Word" church, where the Word of God is preached, taught, and lived by those who love the Lord. Pastor Young and Evangelist Young, as well as the congregation of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, have all been major influences in the growth of Pastor Sheats and UCLC. Chestnut Grove Baptist Church is our parent church and Pastor Sheats considers it an honor to be oldest spiritual son of Pastor Marcus Young. I will forever be grateful for Pastor Young's spiritual guidance. In February 2013, God gracefully allowed me to retire and become a full-time Pastor of Unity Christian Life Center.
Pastor Richard (First Lady Claudia ) Sheats
My name is Tona Branch I was born and raised in Winder Georgia. My parents, Herbert Hunter Jr. and Sara Jo Price Hunter, are both deceased. I have two brothers and a sister. From my youth up, I have always noticed that I was different. It was not until my late twenties that I realized the Lord our God had a special calling on my life. I've had my share of ups and downs and it was in my down times when I really discovered who God is. When the scriptures say that the Lord our God is a very present help in the time of trouble, I can honestly say that He is indeed. If and when we call on Jesus, He will show up and show out. Hearing Him and following Him has been the best decision that I could have ever made.
Pastor Young's Children in the Ministry
I serve as Assistant Pastor, President of the Women's Ministry, and a member of the Pastor's Aide and the Hospitality Committee. But, my passion is our youth because I believe they look at us as if we've never done wrong or we've always been saved. We have to let them know that we've done things in our lives that wasn't pleasing to God. To let them know that if God can save and change me, he can do the same for them. Never be ashamed of where we came from, because our past don't determine our future.
So, come out and worship with us every Sunday morning! Our youth are in charged on every 2nd and 5th Sundays. "We are a church the reaches up to God and out to man."
